The DC8 is characterized by the minimal play in the lever bearing. This results in a direct and unadulterated transfer of hand force to the clutch. No annoying wobble of the lever. Thanks to this and the ergonomically optimal design, the lever always fits perfectly in the hand. The use of high-quality materials, very precise machining, and high-quality surface treatment elevate ARC controls to a level of quality previously unmatched in the off-road market.
| It features the well-known ARC Flex lever inacomposite version.Unlike previous ARC Flex levers, the composite levers are not made of aluminum but of a very lightweight special plastic that can bend in the event of a crash and thus does not break.The special plastic compound offers a so-called memory effect, meaning the lever returns to its original shape after bending. It is designed to provide sufficient stiffness for operation, meaning it does not bend during braking or clutch operation. This only occurs in the event of a fall.Additionally, the COMPOSITE levers are adjustable for hand size and position and can fold forward via the joint in the event of a fall. Compared to other products on the market, the ARC levers are distinguished by virtually no play, high-quality materials, and superior build quality. |
Like the RC8, the DC8 features not only the familiar ARC Flex lever but also a thin nylon slip sleeve on the handlebar clamps. In the event of a crash, this allows the entire assembly to rotate around the handlebar, thereby preventing the lever or assembly from breaking.
